Wine for the Holidays Event Raised Funds for the Arvada Food Bank

The Wines for the Holidays Wine Tasting event held on November 20th at the Egg Shell Restaurant in Olde Town, was both a wonderful holiday event and a successful fundraiser for the Arvada Community Food Bank. Organized by the Arvada Festivals Commission and sponsored by the Egg Shell and Balistreri Winery and other local wineries, the event was attended by over 200 people who savored an extensive array of wines and hors d'oeuvres and shopped for holiday gifts from an assortment of silent auction items donated for the event. The event raised $8,500 for the Food Bank.
